For the second consecutive year, William J. Clinton Elementary has won 1st place in the Ronald McDonald House Charities Pull Tab Campaign.

When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, the emotional and financial stress of juggling work, personal life, hospital care, medical and out-of-pocket expenses, and even paying for hotel stays, can have a negative toll on families. But, with the help of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, families can stay together so that their child can heal and everyone involved can cope – without any external worries.
The entire Clinton Elementary community has managed to be the biggest contributor to this cause. This year, the school collected a whopping 800 pounds more than last year and beat out every other participating campus by 1,000 pounds!
“The pull tabs collection is a year-long process at our school,” said school counselor Mr. Don Gonzalez. “ We organize competitions, we give out incentives, and also plan lessons around this very worthy cause. The community involvement gives everyone in our school a real sense of purpose, and it’s great to see the kids get rewarded for it,” Gonzalez added.
Clinton Elementary received a personal “Thank You” from Ronald McDonald along with an exclusive magic show for the efforts in support of the Pull Tab Program. The school also received a traveling trophy to display thru the upcoming school year and a certificate of gratitude for the tremendous work achieved by the school.
Congratulations to everyone in the Clinton Elementary community who generously sponsored, donated, and supported the charity and helped maintain the 1st place title.
