William J. Clinton Elementary Library welcomed David Norec, author of “Adventures of Exo and Cy.” Mr. Norec lost a brother and sister to diabetes. From these tragedies, he was inspired to write this book. It is an interactive book that promotes kids of all ages of the importance of healthy eating. #davidnorec

La Joya ISD is proud to announce an increase to our retention stipend! Our Board of Trustees approved an increase of an additional $1250 to all returning full-time employees for a total of $2500! All NEW full-time employees to our district will receive a retention stipend of $1250. The retention stipend will be paid on Dec. 16, 2022. Thank you all La Joya ISD employees! You help La Joya ISD Shine Bright!

Huge shoutout to Mrs. Quezada (Media Club Instructor) for making this possible for our students and to Mrs. Vargas (Clinton ACE Coordinator). This was a one of a kind experience for our students. The Clinton ACE Media Program had the opportunity to learn what happens behind the scenes of their local news station Telemundo 40.

Congrats to 2 of our Science Project District Winners. 5th graders Alejandra and Estrella Ramirez. Alejandra- 3rd place in Physical Science Estrella- 3rd place in Life Science Great Job to all participants!!!
